Step-By-Step

Step 1.  Scrunch dry the hair using a styling cream like L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Texture Series Tousle Crème for soft texture and a pliable hold.  If your hair is super straight,  you can use a large barrel iron to create a loose curl section around the face and top.
Step 2.  Section the hair from right behind the ear to across to head to behind the ear on the other side, and clip it out of the way.
Step 3. Spray the back loose section with a workable hairspray like L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray. It’s going to give you hold without being stiff or sticky. After spraying, you want to tease the hair lightly from the round of the head to about 1 inch from the nape of the neck.
Step 4. Once the back-combing is done, spray again.
Step 5.  Release the section of hair in front and spray with hairspray. Then, start to finger-comb that hair back into a ponytail, smoothing it over the volume you created with the tease and spray in place.
Step 6.   Gather all the hair to form a low pony and secure with a clear elastic.
Step 7. Using a comb smooth out hair around the face and use fingers to place the hair in a soft face-framing shape and spray.
